Story: I'm really happy with how this came out, especially given that I got up at 2am in the morning to get it! I've done at least one all night astro session but this was my first one to get up super early, but I knew that this was the only way to get this star cluster close to the Matariki holiday. This was the first proper clear night in about 6 weeks, so I was extra determined to make the most of the clear skies. It was an amazing experience to be able to see the stars lined up over the mountain like this, and as a bonus I saw several meteors and 2 bright pass overs of the Starlink satellites.
